We recommend using a burr grinder for the best results, as blade grinders may create dust which can inhibit the flow of coffee when brewing.
We recommend using an espresso grind, and applying a fairly soft tamp. You can grind your own coffee beans fresh at home, or ask your favourite cafe to grind the beans for you. Or you can check out our delicious Bespoke Blend, ground specifically for use with your reusable pods!
The Paper Filter is required when brewing tea. When brewing coffee, the Paper Filters are optional - you can use these if you're finding grinds in your coffee, or you can even use them to help brew a more intense espresso.
Sure thing! Your brew results will vary, dependant on which coffee you use, and how you use it. You can check out our top tips here.
Yes, FeePods allow you to enjoy a lovely cuppa using your favourite tea leaves! When filling, add a single scoop of chopped tea leaves, and simply place one of the paper filters on top. This ensures there is enough space in the capsule for the tea leaves to expand during the brewing process.
Can I get detailed instructions on brewing with FeePods?
Before you brew anything in your coffee capsule machine, we recommend ensuring your machine has been recently descaled to ensure that the brewing pressure is normal and to assist with optimal performance.
Step 1. Filling
Fill, tamp very gently, and then repeat to ensure the capsule is full to the top. Remove excess grinds with the handle of the scoop. Please note: FeePod works best when used with 7.5-8.5g of ground coffee.
Step 2. Sealing the capsule
Place the Paper Filter on top (optional), and then close with the Capsule Cover.
Step 3. Brewing
Set the capsule inside the machine, close the lever slowly, and brew!
